Project Zero link dead in Resource Explorer?

Hi All,

I am trying to get started with Project Zero with the CC2650 Launchpad, however, all of the tutorials point to this link in the TI Resource Folder which just appears as blank for me on my work computer and also at home.

Has the link died or been moved?

You're right, the link is dead. Thanks for pointing it out. We're working on it, in the mean time you can proceed with SimpleLink Academy.

Just test connecting to PeojectZero from CCS Resource Explorer and the links works fine.

The link is still down for me. I've downloaded ProjectZero several days ago, and now i'm trying to rewrite it, but always get a blank page.
And i do not have CC26xx Bluetooth Smart directory in Resource explorer in CCS.

I suggest you to check if your firewall or antivirus SW blocks the link.

Tried to disable Antivirus, FW, clear cookies, on Mac, on Windows. No success.

Directory "CC26xx Bluetooth Smart..." just disappeared

I don't have CC26xx Bluetooth Smart directory in Resource explorer in CCS too.
Even I open in firefox : http://dev.ti.com/tirex/#/]
It disappeared because it's fixing now , right ?

I cannot see "CC26xx Bluetooth Smart - v:2.01.00.44423" from http://dev.ti.com/tirex/#/ but I can see it on CCS->TI Resource Explorer. There must be something wrong with http://dev.ti.com/tirex/#/

Hi Rustem,

I'm sorry but BLE Stack 2.2.1 is not supported for mac. Not Project Zero (which is part of Simplelink Academy), and not the BLE stack.

Our CC2640R2 software is supported for linux.

I guess you could try making a post in this forum to see if any mac users have used python to make it work, or preferably switch to windows.

Hi,

I can't get project.0(project zero) for cc2650-launchpad either. I downloaded 'SimleLink_academy_cc2640r2sdk_1_12_00_00' and installed it(unpacking). But installing(import in CCS7.1) fails since it lacks '.location' in both 'project_zero_cc2640r2lp_app' and 'project_zero_cc2640r2lp_stack_library' during import. Could someone give me explicit directions on how to download this project for the cc2650_launchpad!

Hi Laurent,

Did you also install the BLE stack? Simplelink academy needs this as well to run. www.ti.com/.../ble-stack

Hello Marie,

I have C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_01_18 installed.
And I have C:\ti\simplelink_academy_cc2640r2sdk_1_12_00_00\modules, where I find the projectzero, app and stack part.

How can I check if the project knows about C:\ti\simplelink\ble_sdk_2_02_01_18?

Hi Laurent,

Since you have the BLE SDK installed at the expected location (C:\ti\simplelink\), CCS knows about it.

Can you tell me how you imported Project Zero to CCS? (Did you do as described in section 2.6.3.3.1 Import an Existing Project of the software developer's guide ( http://www.ti.com/lit/swru393 )?)

Hi Marie,
yes, i did exactly that, which works fine for simple_peripheral project. However, projectzero does not reside their. Its in another simplelink directory: C:\ti\simplelink_academy_cc2640r2sdk_1_12_00_00\modules. Its another SDK version as well! Remember that I'm running on a cc2650_launchpad. I did ran the project.0 from the cloud, which works ok, but now I want to download it and modify/debug local.

Hi Laurent,

For CC2650 Launchpad, you have to use simplelink academy version 1.11. You can find it here: software-dl.ti.com/.../overview.html
