Dear Experts,

could You please comment on the following.

If I understand correctly, then the BLE-STACKv3.0 is specifically targeted to CC2640R2. Meaning that the additional features can not be used on the predecessor CC2640, correct?

e.g. the additional Vendor Specific HCI commands can not be used on CC2640, correct?

    Hello ROGERG,

    You are correct, the CC2640R2 SDK with BLE-Stack v3.0 is only supported on the CC2640R2F wireless MCU. Refer to the sticky CC2640R2F Getting Started FAQ post at the top of the BLE forum for more details. Likewise, the Scan Event HCI extension commands are only available on the CC2640R2F.
