CCS/CC2650: Support for Eight Capacitive-Sensing Buttons

Hello,

The CC2650 datasheet SWRS158B lists 'Support for Eight Capacitive-Sensing Buttons' as a feature. Is there an application note and CCS sample for this? Hopefully, it involves more than essentially the ADC sensing voltage via the 8-channel Analog mux?

You can take a look at the sensor controller studio example for cap-sensing.

Looking at the Capacitive Touch Data Logger Example, one sees:

Project name: Capacitive Touch Data Logger

Project Description: Demonstrates capacitive touch data sampling on the CC2650 SensorTag with Capacitive Touch skin.

I searched al over TI's website and can't find any info on "the CC2650 SensorTag with Capacitive Touch skin". I believe the said Capacitive Touch Skin would be something that plugs into the CC2650 SensorTag, akin to the TAG-TMP107EVM in the TIDA-0800 reference design?

We currently don't have any reference design for this, but we do have the plan to release a reference design even though the timeline is a bit uncertain. You can start with our scs Capacitive Touch Data Logger example to get familiar with our solution and do some simple example with open wire.
