I have problem with iar and xds100v3.

I connected TMS, TCK, VDD(Volteage detect), GND & nReset pin.

FlashProgramer2 is OK, but IAR get Error(Fatal Error:Failed to halt after bootloader 1 )

Why is this happening ?

How can i fix it?

Can you provide the CC2640 chip revision and IAR version you are using?

cc2640 Chip revision: 2.3
IAR for ARM 7.40.3.8938

Are you using CPU reset or Board reset?

BTW, which BLE stack are you using? It's not relevant to what you are seeing, but I would recommend you to start at our newest BLE stack for CC2640. The newest BLE stack require IAR 7.70.

Option of Reset is Default.(as below)

BLE-Stack Version is ble_cc26xx_2_01_01_44627.

This Error has not happened on IAR7.8! But I get the warning as below

Sun Feb 05, 2017 00:44:06: Warning: Failed to halt at 0x0000EE10 after bootloader, forced stop at 0x1001BBD6

Is it right?

Try to use IAR EWARM 7.40 to build examples of BLE Stack 2.1.1.

I cannot find IAR for ARM 7.4, but I can debug on IAR 7.8.

I get a message( as below) on IAR7.8 when opening project that developing on old version(7.2)

does this conversion impact my project? what should I do when changing from IAR7.2 to IAR7.8?

Since you are only at development stage, I would recommend you to start with our newest BLE stack 2.2.1, which can be downloaded from ti.com/ble-stack

After re-install IAR7.4, I can enter debug mode.
