RTOS/CC2650: Use of Sysprintf on CC2650

Hi,

You can download our newest BLE Stack 2.2.1. In the corresponded version of TI-RTOS, we have display driver which you can choose to output to UART/LCD ...etc.

Start from simple_peripheral to see how the display driver is used.

Thanks, but I cannot use a new stack even for debugging purpose, I work in a bigger project.

which version of BLE stack are you using?
If it's 2.1, then you can refer to this project :

I dont know really to what u refer with this display driver. This is supposed to print as well on a uart terminal, or?

Yes, it will print to uart(or LCD if you want). Have you checked out simple_peripheral project from BLE stack 2.2.1?

The default predefined symbols relating to logging are shown below: 

BOARD_DISPLAY_EXCLUDE_UART

xBOARD_DISPLAY_EXCLUDE_LCD

Display_DISABLE_ALL

xdc_runtime_Log_DISABLE_ALL

You need to change it to the following:

xBOARD_DISPLAY_EXCLUDE_UART

BOARD_DISPLAY_EXCLUDE_LCD

xDisplay_DISABLE_ALL

xxdc_runtime_Log_DISABLE_ALL

And in the application SimpleBLEPeripheral_init(void), change 

dispHandle = Display_open(Display_Type_LCD, NULL);

to 

dispHandle = Display_open(Display_Type_UART, NULL);

Then you will be able to output data to uart. 

So then you can just copy what has been done for simple_peripheral project and include the needed files/initialize the handle and then log what you want.

Ok. Thanks a lot, I.ll try with this one. Found the example project as well. So using this I can call Sysprintf functions, right?

This is not using System_printf(), but it will achieve the same result you wanted. Print data through UART.
And you can easily decide how many arguments you want to use and which row/column to place the log.
You can search "Display_print" in simple_peripheral to see the usage.

Hi, regarding to the same issue. I was able to fix the problem and compile the UArt configuration correctly, but I still cant see any message when I connect with teraterm. Do u have some suggestion?
