Hey Guys,,

Am working on OAD

Board: CC2640

Software: CCS V6.2

am refering the document CC2640 OAD users guide

ONCHIP OAD am trying to impliment

I didn't get any output from there. Can anybody help me to know what are the steps to do OAD in CCS

Is there any example programs for that ,

Hello Stebin,

On chip OAD for CC2640 is not provided when using CCS; this is why you don't see it in the OAD user guide. We recommend you use CC2640R2F where on chip OAD is provided in both CCS and IAR for our Bluetooth 4.2 protocol stacks.

Yes, however, please review the updates and limitations listed on the "CC2640R2F & CC2640 DFU / OAD User Guide Errata" wiki page.

Hi,
Thanks for reply. can you suggest me which example code i have to try because am new to this domain now am trying with simple peripheral example code am i going right direction?? thanks in advance

Hi,

Our only example is simple_peripheral and the OAD guide. We strongly recommend you use CC2640R2F due to added memory availability.

hey JXS
Thanks for your reply .now am running the Simple peripheral using IAR but i cant get any output in the board(CC2640).is there any additional file i should add on the code like BIM.hex?? Thanks in advance
