CCS/CC2640: BLE stopped working after update to CC2v7 with new compiler and xdc-tools

I've tried for days now and cannot resolve this. I had a working project for my custom CC2640 board (single ended internal bias). After I updated CCS I got errors. For example the debugger claimed that device was locked. This was resolved by switching device to 2640f128 instead of 2650f128 (I think it was the only option before, and that was working fine).

Now it builds w/o errors and flashes, but it does not pop up in my simplelink app anymore. So the Bluetooth does not seem to work anymore. Any advices where I can start troubleshooting?

My updates:

Compiler from 5.2.8 to 16.9.4

CCSv 6.1.3 to 7.3.0

TIRTOS from 2.0 to 2.21

The CC2640 is CC2640F128RSMR

Hi Daniel,

What CC2640R2F SDK are you using.? The recommended CCS and Compiler Version can be found at Release Notes.

It was the new compiler 16.9.4 that was causing the problem. Found the old 5.2.8. in the ccsv6 folder. Copied it to the compiler folder in ccsv7. It now works properly. Thank you, Markel!
