LAUNCHXL-CC2650: Cannot find tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08 after install BLE Stack 2.2 (ble_sdk_2_02_01_18_setup.exe)

After I  install BLE Stack 2.2 (ble_sdk_2_02_01_18_setup.exe) and import  simple_peripheral to my CCS 7.4, I get the following warning when I try to build the example.


Invalid project path: Include path not found (C:\ti\tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08\products\cc26xxware_2_24_03_17272).    simple_peripheral_cc2650lp_stack

It seems that I don't have tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08 installed. However, I find nowhere to download and install tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08. Where can I find it?

    The ti rtos version for BLEL STACK 2.2.1 should be tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_20_01_08. It's weird that the project is asking for tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08...

    For your qustion, tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08 is bundled together with BLE STACK 2.2.2, which you can get from www.ti.com/.../BLE-STACK

    I had remove and install BLE STACK 2.2.2 but I still see this issue. Is there anywhere I can download tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_20_01_08 separately?

    Do you see this pop up during the installation? 

    If yes, can you check after that where does the tirtos got installed? 

    I will get back to you regarding downloading specific TI-RTOS version

    Hello YK,

    TI-RTOS standalone installers are available at www.ti.com/.../TI-RTOS-MCU and by following the associated Get Software link to software-dl.ti.com/.../index.html.

    Unfortunately, the standalone installer for tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08, which as Christin states above is used by BLE-Stack 2.2.2, is not on this the page yet. I've sent an internal request to have it published.

    Note that when you use a BLE-Stack v2.x installer, it will check for the existence of the associated TI-RTOS installation in C:\ti before prompting for the TI-RTOS installer shown above. So, if you have a folder named C:\ti\tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08, then the TI-RTOS installer will not be presented during an installation of BLE-Stack 2.2.2 SDK. Also, uninstalling the BLE-Stack SDK does not remove the TI-RTOS installation. If you remove the TI-RTOS path, then you should see the TI-RTOS installer launch upon re-installation of the BLE-Stack.

    Finally, just to re-clarify what is stated above since the title of your post has mismatched BLE and TI-RTOS SDK versions:

    BLE-Stack 2.2.1 installs tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_20_01_08
    BLE-Stack 2.2.2 installs tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08

    and I am pretty sure I don't have tirtos_cc13xx_cc26xx_2_21_01_08 folder under c:\ti. I try to download ble_sdk_2_02_02_25_setup.exe and use administrator privilege to install it again. Now, it works like magic. Anyway, thanks for your help.
