Compiler/CC2640R2F: CC2640R2F debugging issue by using IAR Embedded Workbench IDE for ARM

Hi TI Experts,

Currently we are facing an unknown problem that receive below warning message during debugging CC2640R2F using IAR Embedded Workbench IDE for ARM v8.11.2.

This message appears quite often and very annoying also during debugging.

The above message causes us not able to debug intermittently.

We would like to know the root cause and the solution for this.

(Extra Info: we also have tried to use the latest IAR Embedded Workbench IDE for ARM v8.22.2, the results looks worse.)

Please help us ASAP to resolve the issue.

Can you elaborate which SDK version and example you are test this?

Also, let us know if which HW you are running. Is it the LPs or have you made your own board?

Hi Siri and YK,

The hardware is own board.

The SDK version is v1.40 & v1.50.

Please advice.

For SDK 1.50, you should use IAR 8.11.2.

Do you have any HW from TI that you can test with? This way we would be able to confirm that you have installed everything you need and that your tools are working properly (Always check the release note for the SDK you are using to see which revision of the tools it has been tested on).

When you experience problems, are you running our examples from the SDKs or are have you made you own examples? I recommend that you start by testing some of the simple driver examples (unmodified) and only replace the Board files and the CC2640R2_LAUNCHXL.c/h files with the files for your HW.
