Bluetopia Handsfree Profile Audio Gateway role

I have downloaded the Stonestreet One SDK 1.4 for MSP430 from http://www.ti.com/tool/stonestreetone-bt-sdk and have been able to run the HFPDemo App, on my evaluation board. The Handsfree demo app only demonstrates the handsfree role, but I would like to use Handsfree profile as Audio Gateway role.

I tried out some of the Audio Gateway related functions described in the Bluetopia Hands-Free Profile API Reference Manual, like HFRE_Open_Audio_Gateway_Server_Port, but it does not seem to work.

Does this version of the Bluetopia stack not support Handsfree Audio Gateway role? If not, how to get a complete stack or Handsfree lib corresponding to the documentation?

The 1.4 release for MSP430 supports only Handsfree Role.

Now that TI has taken over support of the stack...

Can TI confirm that HFP-AG is still not supported ?

Any plans on implementing this ? Because that is only half a solution (HFP without HFP-AG).

Hi,

Currently HFP AG role is not supported in any of the Tiva or MSP releases. Only HFP HF role is supported.

We have it in our future plan. But I don't have any specific date that can be communicated. I will let you know once it is available.

Could you please let us know what is the requirement?

We are trying to build a 2-way audio intercom. Need a HFP-AG at one end and HFP at the other.

If there is someone who has implemented this that is available to consult we would be interested.
