This is a known issue and should be fixed in next releases.

Basically, when I checked it a while ago (hard to find XP these days :)), you need to click OK, abort the installation but without unistalling Uniflash. This should work as installation is finished in this stage. Please check it.

the program seems to run after following your instructions. I haven't tried actually flashing anything to see if there's some kind of damage to the program... just got the dev kit today.
