API or setting for CC3100/CC3200 to work in 802.11 b/g/n individually

Hi,

As the requirement of FCC test, we should configure CC3100/CC3200 to work in 802.11b/g/n individually. However, I cannot find any API or method to do it.

Since CC3100mod is already went through FCC test, TI should have such interface, either API or other ways, to set the mode individually. May I know where or who can I get this information from?

Need urgent help. Thank you very much and appreciate if you can help.

Hi KH,

There is a tool used to test these sort of things: processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC31xx_%26_CC32xx_Radio_Tool
It lets you put the device in all modes necessary for FCC,IC,CE,TELEC,SRRC etc testing. This is the tool we used to certify the modules.

I want know few things about these wireless standards supported by cc3200.

By default which standard does cc3200 use?

How to change the wireless standard supported by cc3200, I mean I want to keep the device in "b" mode, how can we achieve this??

Is there any document that describe these things?

Hi Amanaganti,

For a raw socket, you may set the transmission rate using sl_SetSockOpt, but that is all.
