C110x Manchester Encoding scheme

Can anyone confirm that the Manchester encoding scheme on the CC110x radios uses the following convention:

Logic '0' = Low to High transition

Logic '1' = High to Low transition

This appears to match the original Manchester scheme, not the IEEE 802.3 standard.  I do not see this data listed in the datasheet, but all my testing thus far seems to point in this direction.

  • Hi Kelly

You are completely right. A low to high transition represents a logic 0 and a high to low transition a logical 1. This is information that should be contained by the data sheet and I will make sure to forward this to the one responsible for the data sheets.

    Thanks for pointing this out.
