RI-TRP-DR2B: Using in a vacuum environment

Hello

We wish to use the RI-TRP-DR2B transponder in a vacuum chamber that is under vacuum up to
5E-8 Torr.

From the spec sheet of the RI-TRP-DR2B it states that the transponder is
hermetically sealed.

Do you see any issue with using the transponder in a vacuum environment ?

Hello Mark,

We have not run tests such as that.

The RI-TRP-DR2B is not completely filled and has some air inside beside the inlay and the silicone filler material.

It will be up to you to test if the transponder can survive in such an environment.

if it helps, i know some folks have used these tags in autoclave with no issues. i think those can/do have some form of vacuum environment when operating.
