CC2650: Antenna Diversity

Can CC2650 support the Antenna diversity function?
According tothe datasheet, it seems TI provide the antenna diversity design on Figure7-1.

Yes, antenna diversity can be implemented on hardware with CC2650 with two single ended RF outputs or using differential configuration and RF switch.

If yes, does TI provide the sample code for Antenna diversity?
Where can we get them?

On CC2650, except in IEEE802.15.4 mode, antenna diversity is not supported in software out-of-box. It can be implemented as part of application code.

[Question.3]
If Q1 answer is yes, which antenna design as below will be good RF performance?
 1. Antenna Select Switch + Differential Antenna
 2. Single ended operation with 2 antennas.
Also please teach me the reason why you select.

Option 1 with differntial output and RF switch is recommended.

[Question.4]
According to the TRM, it seems that TI provides the command for antenna diversity on in frontEndMode with CMD_RADIO_SETUP. Would you please teach me the detail of"0x3" and "0x4" (Antenna diversity)? How to use this command?

Answered in Q2. In general, valid settings for frontend mode are defined in the rf_commond_cmd header file in driverlib. This setting can be used to configure RXTX pin (when not being used for external bias) and un-used RF pin as control signals to control switch or LNA/PA.
