CC2595: Effect in specific frequency band

Hi

According to the datasheet, CC2595 can amplify the output by ~20dBm in the 2.4GHz band.

That can be seen from Figure 6 also. (2.38GHz to 2.52GHz range)

How about the frequency band out of 2.4GHz band?

For example, would it be amplified the noise around 4.8GHz as the same level?

Or is there the case that CC2595 could generate harmonics?

    The CC2595 is an RF amplifier with a amplifier that runs in compression and therefore it will generate harmonics, all harmonics 2,3,4, etc.

    You will need to follow the reference design or make your own design that can attenuate the harmonics well enough to pass regulatory requirements for the region you plan to operate in.
