LAUNCHXL-CC1310: 15.4 Stack native OAD in cc13x0 sdk 1.40.00.10 not working

I notified the 15.4 stack team about this issue. In the meantime, you may find the BIM sources in the following folder: <SDK_INSTALL_DIR>/examples/rtos/CC1350_LAUNCHXL/blestack/util.

The BIM should be identical across 15.4 stack, BLE stack and EasyLink.

This issue might be caused because the BIM is not present or the download checksum failed.

If you haven't already tried could you try running the same OAD but flash your CC1310 Launchpad with the firmware located in 

C:\<INSTALL_DIRECTORY>\examples\rtos\CC1310_LAUNCHXL\ti154stack\hexfiles\oad\sensor_oad_cc13x0lp_all.hex using Uniflash

I've tried with that hex and also with a combined BIM + app image built from merging two hex files. Shouldn't the chip prevent trying to load an image where the checksum failed? How can I check?

The device will not load an image if the CRC check fails.

To check if this is the cause of your problem you can look at the UART prints that the Sensor OAD firmware does when the OAD finishes. Another option is to set a breakpoint in the function OADClient_processEvent(uint16_t *pEvent) in the following block of code

/*
* Check that CRC is correct and mark the image as new
* image to be booted in to by BIM on next reset
*/
status = OADStorage_imgFinalise();

and check the value of status to see if the download was successful.

I've checked the UART prints and it never showed any indication of the CRC being wrong. I'll try with the debugger again today.
