LAUNCHXL-CC1310: Clarification Regarding CC1310 switch time from Rx to Tx and vice versa

Hi,

I found the information on forum that the CC1310 is a half duplex device and to work in Bidirectional mode we need to switch between RX and TX mode.

I want to know how much time CC1310 takes to switch from RX mode to TX mode and vice versa?

Depending on exact modulation somewhere between 700us and 900us.

Hi TA,

I want to use a point to point communication between two CC1310 nodes and there will be a simultaneous transmission and reception from both the sides.
So , if we change the operating mode from RX to TX then does the packet loss occur if other node is transmitting any packet?
And how do I make sure that there should not be any packet loss?

You have to ensure that only one node is in TX at a given time. Use LBT or CCA. Look at the listenbeforetalk example in the SDK.
