CC1350: Availability of CC1352 LaunchPad

Today I ran across this link showing availability of CC13X2 SDK. This SDK release date is 12/20/2017 so it's pretty new, however I can't find any information on availability of the CC1352 or CC1312 LaunchPad boards or availability of the parts. We've been anxiously waiting for the follow on version of the 1350 with more memory. Any pointers to more information would be appreciated.

This is correct, what you are seeing is us getting ready for a new product release. I cannot comment on the exact date, but its getting very close.

I suggest that you sign up for notifications using the "Alert Me" button that that website and you will get notified the moment the "switch is flipped"

TA12012 it is safe to buy CC1350STK to start de development of an application which will be target to this new CC1352R version? Would be great if some level of compatibility is granted so that I can start the development right now and only adapt the target.

@TER I want to use the dual band application. I was thinking in use BLE as beacon broadcasting the infos about the device, the battery level in special, but the alternative would be to transmit this info to gateway that would be responsible to deliver it to an mobile app. So, in some sense you help me to answer my own question. Thanks.

TI won’t reveal release date in public forum. I suggest you to contact TI local representative to see if you can sign NDA to get information.

The CC1352 LP is right around the corner. I believe you should be able to order this within days.

To close out this thread, we release our new flagship dualband capable device on January 18th, 2018. Here is a direct link to the product folder and following this link you will able to buy launchpads and download the new SDK.
