CC1310: can we change the tx power dynamically?

Hi TI friends,

we are using ti154 stack sdk , generally the tx power is configured fixedly and will not change during the operation.

is it possible to change the sensor's tx power dynamically according to the signal strength received from collector?

we can save more power energy if we support this kind of power control.

Hi Harbor,

The MCPS data request structure contains a power field you can use to set the transmission power of the data frame:

dev.ti.com/.../struct__apimac__mcpsdatareq.html

You might also be able to set the transmission power by setting the ApiMac_attribute_phyTransmitPowerSigned attribute:

ApiMac_mlmeSetReqUint8(ApiMac_attribute_phyTransmitPowerSigned, (uint8_t)CONFIG_TRANSMIT_POWER);
