What kind of sensor do I use to sense the presence of a coil placed closer to another coil of the same number of turns?

    Hi Hamed,

    You can probably use the ADC to measure voltage Vm over a resistor in series with the current of one of the coils. Then, if a current is induced in the other coil that is moved closer, you should be able detect a change in Vm. Please study mutual inductance, and otherwise how magnetic fields affect and are generated by coils.
