Throughput of CC3200 in simple HTTP Application

I'm having a few different issues. I'm trying to create a simple HTTP client application where the CC3200 sends a POST request to a simple Python server I have running my machine with data multiple times. I'm trying to use this as a method of determining what sort of throughput I can get to send data to AWS later on, and am having issues with being able to measure this throughput. 

Using CCS, I took the CC3200 Sample HTTP Client Application and just repeated the HTTP POST request multiple times. However, after the first request, it fails with "Failed to send HTTP POST request header" in subsequent requests.

I switched over to using Energia and the ConnectNoEncryption demo with a POST request being sent. When I repeat this POST request many times, I'm getting a throughput of 9 kB/s, which seems very low. I ran the TCP Sample Demo on CC3200 and used iperf on my Mac and got a bandwidth of 5.5 Mb/s. Anyone have any suggestions on how to debug this issue / figure out the throughput I get by sending POST requests very quickly?

    Either connection closed or server blocking request as it may crossing the max limit  of request per second. To find exact cause please share error code.

    Unfortunately HTTP Throughput not available as it vary server to server. Throughput depend upon a number parameters eg. internet speed, load on server, restricted max number of request per second etc.

    I've included the code that I'm using currently for the http_client_demo. I'm confused as to how to go about figuring out what's wrong. I've stepped through the code but get a lRetval of -103 (which may correspond to HTTP status code 103 of an aborted POST request). I'm able to get the first request to succeed but nothing after that and I need to understand what throughput I can get if I want to keep sending this size request over and over again.

    The HTTP Client Demo is to POST code to httpbin, but I don't know what is causing `HTTPCli_sendRequest on line 914` to return a -103 value for lRetVal. I've been able to trace this negative return value to `sprsend` in httpcli.c. Does anyone have any suggestions on what's going wrong? I need to send a 240 kb message to my server every few seconds and can't seem to get my current 30kB message sending.
