I have an existing project, build on SDK 1.1.0 on a different PC. On a new PC, I freshly installed CCS and the new CC3200 SDK 1.2.0. I imported my project and rebuild it. Rebuild fails because of it cannot open source file "provisioning_api.h". The file is in C:\ti\CC3200SDK_1.2.0\cc3200-sdk\simplelink_extlib\provisioninglib but adding it manually to the include path result in many unresolved symbols like sl_Provisioning_HttpServerEventHdl and comparable. So it seems to me that I am missing some simplelink stuf? Any help here would be appreciated.

I seem to be completely missing some kind of upgrade manual for upgrading to SDK 1.2.0.....

I have added:
- simplelink_extlib to include path
- network_common.h to my project
- function SimpleLinkGeneralEventHandler(SlDeviceEvent_t *pDevEvent) to my main.c

Slowly it seems to be getting back to work now. But Ti's documentation is completely missing!

Yes, those are the dependencies for application builds in SDK1.2. SDK provided samples, are taken care of these dependencies. Thanks for the note, we will ensure these dependencies are explicitly mentioned in the 'Release Notes' for future releases.

Hi,

Can a TI employee please publish instructions on how to upgrade from SDK 1.1.0 to 1.2.0?
I have a project built with SDK 1.1.0 and i have having a hard time to upgrade it.

regarding to the comment above.
can you please explain more about "network_common.h to my project" where was this added and where is this file located.
And what does it mean "function SimpleLinkGeneralEventHandler(SlDeviceEvent_t *pDevEvent) to my main.c", it was added with extern? does it have to be added on main.c?

I have the same questions as tokyo tokyo and the pdf was no help to me. The worst part is that I have solved this before on another computer but I cant make it work now.

Can you please help me with:
add network_common.h to project
and
declare function SimpleLinkGeneralEventHandler(SlDeviceEvent_t *pDevEvent) on main.c?

Like a dummy's explanation? I am sure it would help others too...

Hi Ruth,

Please check this topic: e2e.ti.com/.../1806610. It can be also possible migration issue to latest SDK (1.2.0).

Hi, Unfortunately that did not help me:

1.Where do I find the network_common file? Once I have it, I added to the simplelink project right?

2.where do I declare the:

declare function SimpleLinkGeneralEventHandler(SlDeviceEvent_t *pDevEvent) ? main.c wlan?

In case this helps anybody else with the same problem, until Microsoft releases a new azure SDK (they are working on it), TI older version SDK1.1.0 should be used. It will compile correctly.
