CC3200: Smart config not ready for production but no known issues?

Hello,

I was checking the wiki on smart config processors.wiki.ti.com/.../CC32xx_SmartConfig_Provisioning and I saw that you have added a warning stating that the process is not ready for production. Because it doesn't always work.

What are those circumstances under which it doesn't work?

I'd suggest you update this on the known issues.

We do not say it's not ready for production. We say it should be implemented in addition to another policy, as SmartConfig does not work with every AP: "SmartConfig™ cannot provision embedded systems in all circumstances. Therefore, products should not go to production implementing only SmartConfig™. Access Point mode or WPS should be implemented and be used as a backup in case SmartConfig™ fails to provision the system." We discuss which APs are not supported on the Provisioning wiki.
