WL1807MOD: SDIO signals trace length

Part Number: WL1807MOD

In data sheet of WL1807 mention that SDIO signal length should less than 12 cm. I am using WL1807 in Beagle Bone Green Adapter board. But total routed Trace length exceeds 12CM(4700 mils). Is there any problems?

    Hi Vishnu,

    Are recommendation is to keep it below the 12CM length. IF you do exceed this it is not necessarily a problem, but it means that you need to ensure good signal integrity and that becomes more difficult. You need to make sure the matching between the data lines is well matched in length and you will have potential for more over/undershoot that you will need to deal with.

    It is possible, but signal integrity is very important and should be considered in greater details.
