CC2531 USB Dongle and Contiki

Considering a "CC2531 USB Dongle" programmed with "Contiki OS" and a small program to send and receive packet that connected to the computer.

Here, I need to develop an application i.e. on the Windows and this app command the Dongle when to transmit the packets and then convey the received packets to my app.

I know there is packet sniffer programmed in the Dongle but in my case it's useless because i'm using Contiki.

But I don't know how to make a connection between the Contiki and my computer.

Is there anybody to help with a solution?

HI Good after-noon

I want to know as i have stuck in project. I am using example in cc2530dk in contiki. I have burnt one card with server.hex one with client.hex and one with sniffer.hex

Now inserted USB-CC2531 device as sniffer in PC via USB port.

When seen by lsusb cmd, i saw my device in list.But now I am not able to see data on PC.So my question is

how to check and observe USB cc2531 sniffer data on PC

Please help me

Please see the Contiki wiki; https://github.com/contiki-os/contiki/wiki/8051-Based-Platforms

In order to send data from your 6lowpan network to your PC you need to setu one of the CC2531 dongles as Edge Router (aka border router). See the examples in COntiki for CC253x platform.

Here: ../examples/cc2530dk/border-router, take a look in the readme file.
