Hi all

I have been trying to get started again on the Zigbee bandwagon, and I just downloaded "https://github.com/mweintra/ZigBee"

Anaren Energia port and I was wondering if can just load the TI ZNP firmware to my CC2530 modules and use the library or is AIR ZNP incompatible with TI ZNP?

If the former is true are TI going to get behind the energia guys and create a TI Energia library for ZNP so low enders like myself can at least get a foot in the door with zigbee.

I have been very keen on the concept of Zigbee for some time but I believe the reason for it lingering in the background and not taking off like USB ,WiFi and bluetooth, si that it is difficult for the people that have great ideas and find the concept awesome, can't get their their wallets to open far enough to afford the expensive tools and the large learning curve.

TI has nailed it with ZNP (Awesome) now just make it easier to use by creating Energia libraries (Mega Awesome ) then it will take off.

If Xbee's can sell like lollies then why not the real thing, Xbee's can't even communicate with real zigbee Pro.

As I know, TI doesn't release any information about will supporting energia for CC2530. Since CC2530 ZNP is already supported by mweintra, why don't you use it?

Just don't know if connecting a CC2530 module via the rf booster pack is protocol compatible with the same anaren booster pack protocol.

Basically, TI ZNP and Anaren module use the same MT command so I don't see big difference. However, you have to test to verify it.

Hi all !!

I have been testing the "mweintra" codes and they work perfectly, the only thing I lack is that I want to connect two nodes (End_device) with a single (Gateway), some suggestions of what I have to change in codes To be able to read information from two nodes?

You can run one ZAP-ZNP as coordinator to form Zigbee network and enable permit join for device to join network. Then, you can start another ZAP-ZNP as Zigbee device to join the formed Zigbee network.

"enable permit join for device to join network" What does this mean ?
now i have one coordinator and one ED (end device) And it works great :).
But now I need to introduce another node as the final device for the same coordinator.

Okay, I have something, but I would like to know if these data are correct, because 18 degrees seem exaggerated to me in a room where the maximum is 13 degrees. The voltage does not know if it is good or not.

another question. How could you measure the temperature with the TMP006 of the CC2530 module and send it to the coordinator?

You have to use I2C to connect to TMP006. I am not clear about your system architecture. Do you use ZAP-ZNP? If so, do you have an ZNP host (what MCU do you use?) to connect to CC2530 ZNP and intend to connect CC2530 ZNP to TMP006?

I'm sorry for not answering before.

Let's see !! I am using the modules of ANAREN CC2530 AIR MODULE.Includes AIR-ZNP.
What I intend to do is to activate the TMP006 of the modules and send their data via zigbee to the coordinator.
I am using the MSP430 as nodes. And the coordinator is a TIVA C.

i don't know what means "ZAP host". what i know is that TMP006 is an a integrated sensor in the modules ... IR Temperature Sensor (TI TMP006)

ZAP host is MCU such as your MSP430 or TIVA C to control CC2530 ZNP. I cannot tell TMP006 is connected to CC2530 or your MSP430 or TIVA C. Can you elaborate?

NO !! i have the TMP006 sensor included in the CC2530 air module.

apart from this ... i have connected this modules with MCU's (TIVA C & MSP430) borads thanks to BoosterPack tecnology.

As I know, TI ZNP doesn't provide example to get data from TMP006. You might need to contact Anaren to see if they can provide SW for their HW design.
