Hi all,

The problem has drag me down for days. Sometimes it works if I reset the coordinator and router but sometimes not.

I use 2 cc2531emk usb dongles to configure it as coordinator and router respectively. End devices support Zigbee HA profile.

I can send request (i.e. simple descriptor request) and have response in the minute before it leaves. However,

one minute later, ZDO_LEAVE_IND shown.

I totally have no idea why this happens. I don't have security enabled from end device. It just happens.

Anyone have any idea on this issue?

Do you mean that you don't have security enabled from end device but ZC/ZR enable security? If so, the device would be changed to unauthenticated status and leave the network.

I check from Protocol Analyzer the status of ZED "security enabled: No"
What is the right command to disable ZC/ZR security from Z-Tool if I start ans steer the network by using APP_CNF_BDB_START_NETWORK?

Does it matter for the channel selection of ZC and ZR?

If you want do disable security, you have to set -DSECURE=0 in f8wconfig.cfg and remove TC_LINKKEY_JOIN from compile options to rebuild ZNP. Do you design the device? Why don't you enable security on ZED?

Thanks Chen,

I am not design the ZED but using product from other brand. I won't mind the security at this moment as I even can't make a stable connection.
It's seems get worse after disabling security because I can't even see ZED announce. The most strange thing is re-trying every process sometimes will work.

1-5 is from temperature sensor which is commissioning successful this time.

6-9 is from any sensor which able to join but leave immediately

This sniffer log only contains 3 beacon requests. I cannot see any useful information in it.

I don't understand why the packet from cc2531EMK is not shown on the analyzer. Is there any settings on the Ubiqua Protocol Analyzer?

According to sniffer log, leave request is sent from ZC. You should check why your ZC send leave request to ask device to leave.

That's the reason I don't understand. What my configuration is:

I use 2 CC2531EMK USB Dongle for ZC and ZR
Both dongle have the same firmware complied by IAR 8051 workbench which the source is from Z-stack 3.0.0
I follow the link http://sunmaysky.blogspot.hk/2017/02/use-ztool-z-stack-30-znp-to-set-up.html to set them up as coordinator and router
If I remove the router, it never works (maybe retry will work)
Channel is configure to 13 as the link state

Anything I missed? What could make ZC is request leave?

I see no reason why this happens. Can you specify which ZED example you use to test this?

Try to set BDB_DEFAULT_TC_REQUIRE_KEY_EXCHANGE to FALSE on your ZC to see if it solve your issue.

However, how can you figure it out? Is there any relevant document for reference?

There is no document in Z-Stack to specify this. I had read a post ( e2e.ti.com/.../2088695 ) about this and thought it might be related to your case. Try it and let me know the results.
