CC2650EM-5XD-RD: How to add level control cluster in sample switch application in z-stack 1.2.2

It’s the same as On/Off cluster.

What callback do you expect to get?

like in sample light example ..zclSampleLight_OnOffCB() is triggered

SampleSwitch sends ON/OFF command to destination and it won’t have any callback like zclSampleLight_OnOffCB t be called.

if I send ON or OFF command from gateway to device with sample switch app , it get processed and also I receive Default response on gateway.

If you add ON/OFF cluster to InCluster of SampleSwitch, you can implement zclSampleLight_OnOffCB on SampleSwitch to receive ON/OFF command. However, why do you need to do so???

I want to send some command from gateway to end device with sample switch app to trigger some tasks.

Custom command or command defined in ZCL?

any thing ..doesn't matter... .intention is to trigger my custom function

You can define your own custom cluster and use it to send and receive messages.

I don,t want to define a new cluster, because lot of clusters are there in zigbee, i want to use existing cluster.

I only want to send one byte of data to ED

You can look into ZCL spec and find a cluster ID/attribute to serve your purpose.

I am trying to add on off and level control cluster in z-stack 1.2.2 sample switch app. But i think that my implementation is partial. because
when I send on off/level command from gateway it received by end device and also processed but on gateway I m getting as shown below..

I couldn't understand well what you are doing and what you want to achieve. Please elaborate.

1) what i want to achieve- send 1 byte data from gateway to ZED (which is using z-stack 1.2.2 sample switch app)

2) since m familiar with level control cluster so m using it to send level command from gateway to ZED.for this I have added levelcontrolmovetolevel callback in the general callback table and added level control cluster in incoming cluster table.

3) whatever level value m sending from gateway, i m able to receive same value on ZED
but my ZED is not sending DEFAULT RESPONSE , READ ATTRIBUTE RESPONSE

Do you add level control cluster and attribute to your inCluster?

what is this Non tree link failure?
