CC2530: RSSI value from MAC

You can try to get it from AfIncomingMsg() in AF.c

but shows junk values all the time

Use lqi in it to convert to RSSI.

there is no lqi in afIncoming

is there anyway i can use this void MAC_McpsDataReq(macMcpsDataReq_t *pData) function to get the rssi value????

I don’t have experience to use this API. I always use LQI requests. You can try it anyway.

I'm using Z-Stack 1.2 why i do not get the correct RSSI values from Aincoming msges ???

I always use LQI instead of RSSI and I also run my application based on Z-Stack 1.2. I am pretty sure LQI works well. I suggest you to use Ubiqua Protocol Analyzer to check it first.

the only problem i am facing with this method is that the value of the lqi is not updaing, is there a way to update this??? now i am restarting the end device to update the value.

Please provide Ubiqua Sniffer log so I can help to check.
