I use TIMAC CC2530 example application(Normal-FFD).

I want to send IEEE802.15.4 packets other than Data frame.

Can I ? and Do you know how to do that?

I want to get MHR data from IEEE802.15.4 format packet.

I referred 802.15.4 MAC API.pdf in TIMAC, maybe can get only application data.( w/o MAC header.)

Can I ? and Do you know how to do that?

I know that I can use "MAC_McpsDataReq" to send data frame.
but another frames are undefined.

Hi,

I've consolidated your questions. The MAC layer must include the header to send data packets, anything else would be raw radio transmissions. Why are you trying to accomplish this?

thanks for replay.

I don't want to send packet w/o MAC header.
I want to change Frametype in FrameControl (in MAC Header).

You can configure this in your pMacDataTx(type macTx_t*) internal.frameType settings as part of the macTxFrame function (not to be directly called from interrupt context).

I should fix macTxFrame function (or another MAC function)?
Can I configure it at Application layer?

There are four kinds of macTxFrame parameter values for txType but you could add your own which is handled specifically for your desired frame type. You would then adjust pMacDataTx and call macTxFrame from your application (be sure to include mac_low_level.h)

I want to do the following.

1. Send Beacon frame packet, when CC2530 received Beacon Request.

This is a different question. You could use the MAC_MlmeSetReq() API to change the value of the MAC_BEACON_PAYLOAD PIB attribute.

Sorry, my english is so bad.

I set {0x01, 0x02, 0x03} to "MAC_BEACON_PAYLOAD".

When beacon request received, send below packet.
[12 00 80 D9 CC 11 BB AA FF CF 00 00 01 02 03 42]

11 CC is my PANID, and AA BB is my coordinator short address.
I think FF CF is superframe specification, and 00 = GTS, 00 = Pending address fields.

Can I remove GTS and Pending address field?
I wanna send superframe and beacon payload ONLY.
