    Part Number: LM25066

    Hi Team,

The customer is asking that what is the difference between LM25066PSQ/NOPB and LM25066IPSQX/NOPB ?
LM25066PSQ/NOPB is also rated at industrial temp -40 to 125c, the same as Industrial grade. Thank you.

    Part Number: LM25066I

    Hi,

we are using the LM25066i Chip  and i would like to know if there is any ESD Protection on the I2C Address ADR0/ADR1/ADR2?

The LM25066i is used as a hot swap but we intend to connect the ADR0 with our connector too.

    So that on…

  • RE: LM25066I: /SMBA response time

    Hi Ann,

We have very limited access to labs due to current situation related to COVID-19. We are not sure when the situation here eases and I can access lab.

Therefore we recommend that customer perform these tests on our EVM in their labs if possible…

  • RE: LM25066I: /SMBA response time

    Hello Praveen,

Thanks for reply. I've already apply EVM for them but they need to confirm solution by this week. Could kindly help to do a quick test on EVM? I don't have LM25066I EVM on hand too. Sorry for the inconvenience and thanks a lot!

  • RE: LM25066I: /SMBA response time

    Hi Ann,

The response time of SMBA has not been characterized. Considering that the delays are caused only due to the internal gate structures, the delay should be very minimal around or less than10us.

Can you please ask customer to test this on EVM.

  • RE: LM25066I: /SMBA response time

    Hi Ann,

I will look into this and give you a response by end of today.

  • LM25066I: /SMBA response time

    Part Number: LM25066I

    Hello expert,

May I know the response time for /SMBA when fault/warn occurs? Customer need response time smaller than 20us and I cannot find the answer from datasheet and EVM user guide. Thanks a lot!

    Best regards,

  • RE: LM25066I: PWR and TIMER setting

    Hi,

You are right. LM25066 can only set PWR and TIMER via Hardware settings. These settings cannot be set by PMBus.

  • LM25066I: PWR and TIMER setting

    Part Number: LM25066I
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM25066

    Hi team ,

My customer is using LM25066I as solution , and wanted to ask ,

Does PWR and TIMER setting can set by PMbus?

per my check , above two pin function only can set by HW , not PMbus…

  • RE: LM25066I: What will happen when CL or CB or Timer or Vref open before power on?

    HI Jan Bob,

When Timer pin is left floating, it charges to its maximum value very fast as the parasitic cap on the pin would be negligible. This means the timer duration is almost zero. If there is any condition which forces the timer to activate like…

  • RE: LM25066I: What will happen when CL or CB or Timer or Vref open before power on?

    Hi Jan Bob,

I need to work on this before giving you and answer. I will come back to you by mid next week.

    Hope this timeline is fine.

  • RE: LM25066I: What will happen when CL or CB or Timer or Vref open before power on?

    Hi Jan Bob,

A short on CL and CB Pins will set the overcurrent limit threshold at 25mV and circuit breaker trip point to 1.8 times the overcurrent limit. So, there is no problem here.

Vref is Internally generated precision 2.73-V reference used for analog…

    Hi Experts,

We want to know what will happen when following four pin open or short before power on?

    1. CL

    2. CB

    3. Timer

    4. Vref

Can it output normally? or what function will be affected?

  • RE: LM25066I: programing (fixed) to “No retries” mode

    Hi Shu-Cheng LIN,

The Default value of D9h register is 0000h. This sets the retry setting, bits 7:5 to 000 which is 'Pin configured retries'.
Unfortunately, we cannot provide a part with different value of registers. So, you may have to program…
