We are designing TAS6424E-Q1 and would like to confirm blow two questions from customer side.

1. Can TAS6424E-Q1 support 8-ohm speaker?

2. If input voltage is 12V, how many watt TAS6424E-Q1 can support with 8-ohm speaker and 12Vin?

No problem.

Simply use 12V as peak sinewave to calculate with 8ohm load, will give you 1%THD output power.

Hi Ben,

The best you can do is 9W with 12Vdc on the PVDD. Most likely you will have losses in the amplifier, so probably around 8.25W will be realistic.
