I have developed a custom board with an ESP32 and qty 2 x TLA2518 ADCs included.
The SPI signal is converted to and from 3.3V to 5 V using your TXS010EPW chip. The Chip Select lines are converted using a simple MOSFET bi-directional translator circuit.
One TLA2518 is responding to SPI commands perfectly. The other is not.
On the chip that is not responding, I have:
- Replaced the chip
- Confirmed that MOSI data is present and correct.
- Confirmed the SCK clock is present and correct.
- Confirmed the Chip Select is correct.
The code and library is clearly correct as one device works.
The MISO line of the faulty chip stays high at all times.
I have paid attention to circuit layout and decoupling as per the specification sheet.
Is there anything you can suggest that may assist in getting the second chip operational? I was thinking there may be some additional considerations with two devices on 1 bus.
