Do we have the latest driver for this system, can you share it with me, please?

Thanks in advance.

  • Hi Renan,

When this can happen is when the EVM was plugged into the USB before the driver was installed.  Even after the driver has been installed, the driver may not associate properly for future connections on the same USB port as originally connected.  The device is registered as a Bulk Device but there is no driver file associated with the bulk device.  The association to the driver will need to be done manually.  The actual driver used is WINUSB which is an MS-Win provided driver included with the OS.

What would need to be done is right-click on the 'Generic Bulk Device' shown in Device Manager, then select Update Driver.  From the selection pop-up, choose 'Browse my computer for driver software'.

From the next pop-up 'Browse for drivers on my computer, select the 'Browse' button and browse to location shown below:

After the proper location is in the Browse window, select Next.  The proper selection is the usb_dev_bulk.inf file.

    Best regards,

    Bob B
