LightCrafter4500 GUI v2.0.0 Image load time

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DLPC350

Hello,
By changing from GUIv1.2.0 to GUIv2.0.0, "Image load time" parameter was disappeared.
If we use more than 2 24-bit field buffers, how can I set it actually?

Best regards, RY

  • Hello RY,

Can you please elaborate on parameter disappeared. The Image Load Time still exist b/w 1.2 to 2.0, are you referring to the entry in the GUI under, Image/Firmware -> Firmware Upload -> Image Load Timing?

Please note that this is a read only command, this command returns the approximate time taken by the DLPC350 controller to load the image from Flash to frame memory. Note, when this button is clicked, it will be execute on the currently programmed firmware on the board, this one has no relation to "Firmware Upload binary" in the same tab.

If we use more than 2 24-bit field buffers, how can I set it actually?

[Sanjeev] When your pattern display is referring to more than 2 24-bit fields basically this will force a condition on the minimum amount of time to be spent on displaying pattern from each buffer, for example, if there are 3 field buffers, and each takes say, 150ms, 145ms and 180ms, so this means, if your total pattern(s) display time >= 180ms then it works perfectly.

  • Sanjeev-san,

    Sorry for my poor question.
I am using Pattern Sequence mode.

I can not see "Image Load Time" in GUI v2.0.0 under "Pattern Sequence" --> "Sequence Settings".
    How can I set it?

    Best regards, RY

  • Hello RY,

This parameters was used for reference only in the GUI, this value was never communicated to DLPC350 as part of configuration. So we have removed it.

When you are using, Pattern Source = Flash and Tigger Mode = Internal/External, all you should take care is that the total time spent to show patterns per 24-bit image in the flash is greater than or equal to the highest image load time. If you take care of this, then there won't be any problem.

    Regards,

    Sanjeev
