We want to use DS110DF1610 in line cards oof communication equipment.
but some question hope you can answer:
what is the maxim latency variation？
what is the switch time when switching an outpot from one input to another?

    I don't see any specific data we have regarding this, but from the following information in the datasheet, variation should be <80ps + device jitter.

    The time it takes the device cross point to switch is very low, on the order of tens of microseconds.  However, since the cross point is located before CDR in this device, CDR needs to re-lock to the signal.  The lock time is not included in the DS110DF1610 datasheet, but is comparable to that of the DS110DF410.  Please find an excerpt from the DS110DF410 datasheet below.
