Hello Team, my customer needs an explanation regarding sleep-mode due to different behaviour what he found/measured.
INH signal is de-activated (Pull-Down, LOW) after under-voltage event on VSUP-pin (VSUP<4.5V)
After asserting VSUP-pin to normal supply INH stays at de-activated. It is not come back to HIGH (activated).
By connecting LIN to GND a WAKE-UP procedure starts. (to emulate a wake-up)
This means TLIN was in SLEEP state during undervoltage on VSUP.
With STAND-BY mode INH should stay on. But measurements show LOW/de-activated.
Also Normal Mode is not possible because this needs EN=HIGH and this is due customer application fixed.
According state diagram this behaviour cannot be explained or is there something missing?
According datasheet the only way to transfer to SLEEP mode is from NORMAL mode.
Is there any special condition during 'under-voltage' event which could explain this?
Many Thanks
Josef
