TLIN1441-Q1: Questions about software reset and watch dog timer

Part Number: TLIN1441-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLIN1431-Q1,

Dear experts,

In SPI mode, how long is it from sending software reset signal  to nRST being pulled down? And when does nRST will recover to high since it is pulled down?

If i design my circuit like the picture below, is there any chance that I can not get an edge by oscilloscope but the nRST did changed form hihg to low to high?

In PIN mode, how to stop watch dog timer after triggering it but keep LDO on?

Looking forwards to your reply!

Sincerely,

Ying

  • Ying,

  • Ying,

Please consider the TLIN1431-Q1 in place of the TLIN1441-Q1. The TLIN1431-Q1 is the newer upgrade with improved functionality, and it also addresses the duty cycle errata.

In SPI mode, how long is it from sending software reset signal  to nRST being pulled down? And when does nRST will recover to high since it is pulled down?

SOFT_RST does not bring the device into Sleep mode, thus nRST will stay high the entire time in SPI control. This could also explain why you aren't seeing any change on your oscilloscope measurements.

In PIN mode, how to stop watch dog timer after triggering it but keep LDO on?

In Pin control, once the watchdog has been triggered, it will remain on until you transition to Sleep mode.

    Best,

    Danny
