Tool/software:
Good morning.
In my project, I used an input connector (USB-UP) that requires swapping each differential pair _P for _N and _N for _P (USB2.0 and TX/RX USB SuperSpeed pairs).
The documentation says that this is possible by setting the registers accordingly (through the windows application and EEPROM), but will the software see the IC correctly if the pairs are swapped (and eeprom memory will be empty)?
1. is it possible to program EEPROM with swapped usb-up port pairs?
2. what pairs are used for programming? (USB 2.0 only?)
3. is the only solution to upload the configuration to EEPROM before soldering it to the PCB ?
