DS90UB913/4 issue

Dear Sir

When I use DS90UB913/4 to connect with OV image sensor (1080p/30) and without connect I2C bus ,the image display is seems like normally

But If I use CMOS sensor and Host's I2C to control 913 and 914 ,Output image will be blinking

Hi Kai,

Are you using two different sensors? Do you have a datasheet for the sensor that is causing a flickering image?

Only use one image sensor ,Below is our test block diagram ,Just different between I2C connect directly or not

Ch1 (Yellow) : DS90UB913Q <=> Image sensor

Ch2 (Blue) : DS90UB914Q <=> Host

Which OVT sensor is being used? - OV10635? - and can you tell me about the processor or ISP that is connected via I2C - what information is being sent over I2C, how much etc.

The I2C bridge that is established via the DS90UB913Q and DS90UB914Q does have an affect on the I2C signal latency, so time critical signals may be impacted, but I have not seen this issue before.

Dear All,

Does this issue already been closed? Looks I am deal with a similar issue, the different test result is my screen can not be powered on rather than Blinking. Appreciate your recommendation. Thanks!

The issue here is that when sending the I2C signal through the backchannel, there is additional latency introduced, so if you are using I2C to transport critical timing signals, then there may be issues. What are the signals that you are transporting over I2C?
