Hello,
Would like to request the layout files, preferrably in the .brd (Allegro) format so I can make an adapter board for the 960 EVM.
Thank you,
Greg

Hi Casey,
Thank you for the files, unfortunately, I cannot read those with Cadence Allegro PCB editor. Would TI have a .brd format to use in Cadence Allegro?
Also, could you please send a searchable schematic .pdf file? The User Guide schematic is not searchable.
Best regards,
Greg
Hello Greg,
We do not use Cadence, so we only have Altium files available.
For the schematic, I will generate a searchable copy for you and send also over private message
Best Regards,
Casey
Hi Casey,
One more favor, I found Cadence can do an Altium import but the .PCBDOC file must be saved as a PCB ASCII file using Altium. Can you please provide this translation file?
Thanks,
Greg

Video explaining the translation procedure in Altium.
Greg,
I'm not sure what you are looking for. The files I sent before included a .PCBDOC file. According to the Altium documentation this file format is ASCII: https://techdocs.altium.com/display/ADOH/Importing%2Band%2BExporting%2BDesign%2BFiles
Best Regards,
Casey
Casey,
When I use the files you sent earlier, they are in a Binary format and need to be in ASCII. See the message below from the translator.
If you have Altium, please open the file up, save the PCBDOC in the ASCII format.
Then I should be able to translate and view in Cadence.
Thanks,
Greg
