I don't think there was any such mechanism available. I would like to confirm the same with my senior colleague also.

After Power ON Reset the core will directly starts executing the code from 0x00000000 and it won't do any prior validations but there was ECC verification for flash, so any single bit errors or double bit errors in flash can be identified by this SECDED module in controller.
