LP-AM243: Gigabit Ethernet on LP-AM243

Hi,

Q1. I'm considering using Gigabit Ethernet with the AM335x. Am I correct in my understanding that if I want to perform 1 Gigabit communication with AM335x, I need to use a model number with DEVICE SPEED RANGE of 100?

Q2. This is related to Q1. The LP-AM243 is an IC with a maximum operating frequency of 800MHz, but it is strange that it supports Gigabit Ethernet. Can I get any comments?

    Question 3
    When comparing AM335x and AM62x, there was a difference in QSPI. (AM335x does not have QSPI, AM62x has QSPI) As far as I can see in the table below, there is a description that Qaud-I/O's SPI-Flash can be connected to AM335x. Is it possible to connect Qaud-I/O's SPI-Flash even though AM335x does not have a QSPI interface?

    Since the title includes LP-AM243 i will answer the related question.

    The Ethernet interface connects to the MAC on the SOC through RGMII using CPSW3G (or PRU-ICSSG).

    CPSW3G clock is 125M for 1G with 4-bit data.

    The MAC received the data over MDI and translated that data into the required format and sends the information to the CPU to process.

    In short, the 1G ethernet interface has no direct correlation to the 800M CPU frequency.
