    Let me point to an erratum concerning DCAN FIFO mode ("During DCAN FIFO Mode, Received Messages May be Placed Out of Order in the FIFO Buffer").

Sorry I don't understand the question. By "query", are you referring to "polling". Are you basically asking how to avoid a message object being over-written? i.e. avoid a Message-lost condition?
