TMS320F280025C: About XBar, some questions

Part Number: TMS320F280025C

hi, experts!

     wish you a nice day!

1.Does xbar have requirements for GPIO configuration, such as open drain output or pullup?

2.what will happen if i enable open drain output or pullup?

3.in 280025 trm,  “Figure 9-5. ePWM and Output X-BARs Sources”   there 'is an EQEP signal, but i canot find it in  trm xbar part, did i miss something?

4.by the way, 280025 trm( SPRUIN7A) " 9.3 XBAR Registers" miss some clb bar registers(clb_in, clb_out ).

best wishes!

  • Hi,

1.Does xbar have requirements for GPIO configuration, such as open drain output or pullup?

No. XBAR is simply connectivity configuration.  Pullup etc can be configured in GPIO block.

2.what will happen if i enable open drain output or pullup?

Open drain: signal will not be driven high. it'll be active lo or undriven.
Pull up: connected to IO supply (VDDIO) via resistor. Please see details in data sheet.

in 280025 trm,  “Figure 9-5. ePWM and Output X-BARs Sources”   there 'is an EQEP signal, but i canot find it in  trm xbar part, did i miss something?

i don't think there is any signal going from ePWM XBAR to EQEP.

    4.by the way, 280025 trm( SPRUIN7A) " 9.3 XBAR Registers" miss some clb bar registers(clb_in, clb_out ).

Table 9-63. CLB_XBAR_REGS Registers has the needed info.

  • thank you very much for your attention and reply.

I have figured out epwm-bar to EQEP signal during this time. there is indeed some signal between them.

but the other answers are  what I need.
