TIDM-1000: TIDM kit control algorithm

Part Number: TIDM-1000

Hi Team,

There is an issue from the customer need your help:

For current ring and voltage ring control of the kit, only known from the user manual is current ring P control, voltage ring PI control. What about the set of control theories and strategies adopted? Is the SPWM used for the control PWM signal to the power MOSFETs? Or the SVPWM algorithm?

Could you help check this case?

Thanks & Regards,

Ben

  • Hi,

    Is there any updates?

  • Hi Ben,

The control theory is based on the paper listed in the reference design section which is a double loop control (current loop and voltage loop). It does not use SPWM/SVPWM. In the user guide of TIDM-1000, the two control loop has been explained in detail. Hope that helps.
