Hi all,
I am developing a tool to convert intel hex file (without boot table) to ascii hex (with boot table)
I learnt from the C28x assembly tools manual that the ascii hex has the following format:
As I understand it, ascii txt with boot table is consist of blocks describing consecutive memories. I managed to convert intel hex into ascii hex with correct blocks, however, the order of the blocks is different to the CCS generated one.
What determines the order of these blocks? Is the order information still included in the intel hex file (without boot table)?
Though the order has no effect to the programming result (is that correct?), I'd like my conversion is identical to the CCS generated one.
Thanks,
Hang.
