Team,

-Are there ways to extend the GPI 28-bit shift feature to 32bits on the AM62xx PRUSS?
Customer is looking to interface a multi-channel ADC that has some pre-amble so the complete data length is 32bit.

-The AM64xx PRU_ICSSG seem to have more features. Can some of those additional features be used to extend the GPI 28-bit shift feature to 32bits? or be used as workaround?

The AM62x has PRUSS vs AM64 that has PRU-ICSSG

Can you elaborate what you meant by the above statement?

FYI, here are example projects of using PRU to interface with external ADCs:

The 28 bit shift mode cannot be extended to 32 bits on any PRU subsystem, but there are still plenty of ways to interface with ADC as in the above examples.
