TDA4VM: TDA4VM ISP Tuning DPC question

Hi TI,

I am currently using TDA4VM and otobrite IMX390 camera to do DPC in ISP Tuning.

The SDK version I use is 9.2.0.5, and the DCC Tool uses the latest version.

I know that this tuning can correct the dead pixels in my lens. When I take a completely black image, I can easily observe that using DCC Tool to do DPC can eliminate my dead pixels.

But when I use the calibrated lens to take images under normal conditions, I find that the left half of my image will turn purple, and there will be noise in the image. How can I solve this problem?

Do you mean when you turn on DPC, the output image will look weird?

Could you please share your capture raw and yuv images for this issue?

This is the result after I set Threshold at 0~65536 to 0.

Do you enable DPC in the VISS parameters as recommended?

Could you please also share your DPC xml file?

DPC is turned on by default.

In your xml file, all DPC enable bits must be on.

Hi Jiarong,

I tested on SDK 9.2 with my j722s EVM and see the correct behavior of DPC with all enable bits in DPC xml file set to 1.

Please confirm if you have the same on TDA4VM.
